At first, I was confused about what met me. Did it look a little thin? What's going on here? But after setting up some courses myself, I understood what this course platform was about.

Next, I dove into the gamification features of Esmerise; points, rewards, and leaderboards. Bigger course platforms like Kajabi try to gamify the learning experience, but it's a hard nut to crack.

Then, I finally understood why I couldn't find any 'preview' button — what admins and students see is the same (almost). Of course, you can edit stuff, but there's no back-and-forth between views.

Esmerise claims to 3x your course completion rates - compared to traditional course platforms like LearnWorlds, Thinkific, Kajabi, and Teachable. I'm just happy that everyone tries to put the fun back into learning.

Some shortcomings; No analytics dashboard to see product progress, revenue, or offers sold. But Esmerise is a startup, and I'm sure these add-ons are on the product roadmap.

In general, I think this startup has succeeded in building the simplest, complete course platform on the market right now. Yes, Gumroad, Pensight, and Skool are even simpler ways to monetize your knowledge, but Esmerise offers a tad more — without drowning you in features and functionality.

Hope you enjoyed my Esmerise review, and that it moved you closer to a decision on what tools you need to build your online business.
