This is Miss GoElectric's first review of an urban fixed-gear eBike. She was drawn to the City Vanture's stealthy design and carbon belt drive. She found a lot more to love about this eBike and then the brand drastically reduced the price. Could this be the perfect svelte urban eBike even without a torque sensor?

Post Production Notes: We aren't sure if our feedback influenced the decision but we just heard from Vanpowers that fenders are now included for free!

They've also announced a new bike called the "Commuter" which appears to be identical to the City Vanture but 4lbs heavier with a single-frame rather than tenon and mortise construction. These are no-brainer options if the form factor and low maintenance appeals to you.

We didn't mention the build very much, but it was about a 30 minute process because we opted to have the bike arrive 90% constructed. We would encourage buyers of the City Vanture to select that option unless you would like a much, much longer build process. Alternatively, the "Commuter" is competitive with a traditional frame and no pre-build requirement.
