When Shrek was still being produced, "All Star" was only included as a placeholder song for the opening credits. The original plan was to replace the song with an original composition by Matt Mahaffey of the band sElf. However, Jeffrey Katzenberg insisted they keep "All Star," and so the sElf song "Stay Home" was relegated to play over the closing credits instead. This is my attempt to recreate what the opening might've felt like if "Stay Home" had been used as originally planned. I recut the song a bit to sync up to the action of the movie.
