Tonka Mighty Loader Restoration 1975s - very old and rusty toy.

I bought the Tonka Loader on eBay for € 15. The Tonka Mighty Loader was made in USA in 1975s. The toy has gotten a lot of rust in the last 50 years. The first thing I did was to dismantle all the parts. The parts were then cleaned of rust with the sandblaster.
Since many parts had holes through the strong rust, I filled them up. The parts were then primed with 2k and painted with 2k yellow paint.

The wheels of the Tonks Loader toy were also no longer in the best condition. That's why I sanded them lightly. After that, the surface was lightly processed with fire. This melts the plastic and the surface becomes nice and smooth and gets a strong color.

The axles and the handle for the excavator were ground and then polished.
After that everything was assembled. At the very end the sticker "Mighty Loader" was stuck on.
