Survival horror is my favorite genre in gaming behind RPGs and the reason for that is Dead Space. Following EA's closure of Visceral Games, I was torn up about what happened to one of my favorite developers. For only mere years later to appoint EA Motive (Squadrons, Battlefront 2) with the task of remaking a classic... well... I was nervous to say the least. Now we're here and I was absolutely wrong on this. EA Motive has not only faithfully remade Dead Space, but also added onto it in significant ways that make it a better game than the original from 2008.
