Hang in there, you got this.

As someone who has schizoaffective disorder, I struggle with thoughts of unaliving. My Mental health journey after I said no is what’s in this video. Psychosis and mood disorders make things complicated but there is light on the other side, and it isn't just those with schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder that struggle with this. It can be anyone, anxiety and depression are common as well, but any person can struggle with those thoughts.

But I want you to know there is hope. That saying no is brave and worth it, that living on after choosing not to well, K**l yourself is worth it. Mental health is no joke, my life has taught me that, but when it's cared for life is amazing. Its beautiful. And it will take you to places--literally and figuratively--you never could imagine.

At long last my big project is here! I went to Europe back in the summer and I wanted to make a vlog, but not your run of the mill travel video, so enter this: a travel vlog turned mental health awareness video that shows to me—and hopefully you too—that living is worth it.

Because it is.

I went to England, Ireland, and Scotland on this trip, most of it by a cruise on the Regal Princess. It’s one of my favorite trips of all time and gathering footage for this video was fun and new for me. It taught me that videos are effective at capturing the vibe of a place and I’ll be doing it more in the future! My dad and I went together and he got some of these shots, so it wasn’t all me, just the majority ;)

A lot of the highlights of this trip are in the video, but I got the little moments too. It wasn’t all grand cathedrals, it’s less intense stuff too.

Traveling became one of my biggest passions in the years after I didn’t end it all, and I stay alive because I want to keep seeing those new places and experiencing new things. Sometimes it’s what gets me up in the morning just as sometimes it’s what keeps me breathing.

That’s my reason, what’s yours? Drop a bee in the comments and let me know!

If you like this type of content, say something! One thing I love about YouTube it it’s freedom to experiment and try new things. And I always want to be able to try new things, so if this “experiment” was something you found entertaining, I definitely want to hear your thoughts on it.

Enjoy :)
