First big snow of the year on the Beartooth Highway!

Have you ever seen a grizzly bear running in snow? I hadn't. I drove up early to get a sunrise shot on Beartooth Lake and was surprised to see a Grizzly on the butte running through the fresh snow. It was awesome!

I was the only person up there enjoying the beautiful snow and wildlife along the Beartooth Highway in late October.

Hiking locations: Long Lake and Island Lake, in the Beartooth Mountains, Wyoming.
Temperatures 14-16 Fahrenheit
