A new update for AEW: Fight Forever has patched in the eagerly awaited Stadium Stampede mode that sees 30 wrestlers duking it out online in Battle Royale action to be the last person standing!

Stadium Stampede takes inspiration from Fortnite and gives players a large stadium to explore that's filled with unique weapons, vehicles and pickups, however as time goes by the safe area will begin to shrink, forcing players to meet in the middle of the field.

This new update is a great addition for AEW that gives players something to return for, as Stadium Stampede comes complete with levels, skills and abilities, all of which can be unlocked by playing and levelling up.

While the mode is a huge step in the right direction, it's not without it's problems, as due to the amount of players involved movesets are stripped back to the bare minimum and there's several issues when it comes to hit detection and moves not connecting, however the biggest issue at launch is the servers, as it can take 10-15 minutes to even enter the mode.

What do you think of Stadium Stampede in AEW Fight Forever? Is this enough to tempt you into picking up, or returning to the game?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
