Hi everyone,

We celebrated our dog Charlie's 4th Birthday last week and tried to make his day extra special!

I cut the recipe in half (just in case Charlie wasn't too crazy about them!) and as mentioned in the video, I modified the ingredients slightly. Instead of eggs, I made a flax egg using 1 TBSP of ground flax seeds combined with 3 TBSP of water. I used ground up rolled oats instead of whole wheat flour and I omitted the ground cinnamon.

For the dog friendly icing I took some peanut butter (about 2 TBSP) and mixed in about 1/2 to 1 tsp of ground oat flour to thicken it up so that I could use it to pipe easily.
