Shringasaurus indicus was a large, herbivorous allokotosaur from Middle Triassic India. Found in only a single bonebed in India, it is famous for possessing two horns on top of its head long before the more famous ceratopsians like Triceratops evolved. Like them, it is thought they engaged in intraspecies combat over mates. However, it is thought to have had more in common with the sauropodomorph dinosaurs in regards to its eating habits, with both browsing from the tree branches.
