Teamed up with Lenny Kravitz in Chihuahua, Mexico on his latest venture @nochelunasotol, I had the honor of capturing the complexity of this rare and resilient spirit. My good friend Antonio Navas led the creative with an amazing story built around the Sotol plant and the Mexican earth. And the brilliant and renowned DP, Igor Martinovic brought the beauty of the desert to life like no other.

At night, the desert really comes alive and the Dasylirion plant thrives. Watching this labor intensive process, which is distilled twice, is one of the most pure experiences I’ve ever witnessed, as well as tasted.

The good folks of Chihuahua and the team led by Don LaLo helped make this an extra special project. Now go fetch a bottle but take your time sipping.
