I love capturing unique footage. If you look carefully as this juvenile lemon shark approaches the bait you can see the ghostly reflection on the surface of the water. That's because the water is only about knee deep. That is a 5 lbs scuba weight that the bait is gently tied to and is about 3 inches wide. So that gives you an idea of how small this shark is. If you watch the slow motion shot at the end (slowed to 15% sound on) you can clearly see the sharks teeth. Tiny teeth! You can also see the nictitating membrane that protects the eye. I have totally fallen in love with these baby lemons at the moment. Who wouldn't right?
