MacOS - Old vs. New - Mac Startup Sound (1998 vs. 2020)
The root note of the old sound was pitched at 184.997hz
(F#3 in A=432hz tuning)
(The new one [which was disabled by default] was at 174.614hz - F3 Natural)

The old sound was used since the first revision of the iMac G3. By 2016, the sound was disabled by default. The sound was reintroduced in 2018 with a lower frequency (still disabled by default but can be enabled in System Preferences).
