WWF WrestleMania X8 and WWE WrestleMania XIX were released on the Nintendo Gamecube back in 2002 and 2003 respectively. While Playstation 2 owners were enjoying games such as Smackdown "Just Bring It" and Smackdown "Shut Your Mouth", Nintendo fans were treated to completely different WWE wrestling games that ran on a different engine. WrestleMania X8 featured the WWF game debut of many of some WCW / ECW alliance wrestlers such as Lance Storm and Booker T, and it was also the only WWF game of it's era to include all three original nWo members.

WrestleMania XIX improved on every aspect of WrestleMania X8. It looked much better, there was more to do, it was much more fun to play, and it also included the "Revenge" mode. In Revenge Mode, you must destroy Vince McMahon's WrestleMania plans by infiltrating a harbor, a shopping mall, a car park and a construction site.

This video looks at both WrestleMania offerings on the Gamecube. All footage was captured from the console itself.
