You don't need a library card to enjoy these good books. In fact, you don't need to even read to have fun with them because they're Saturday morning cartoons on PBS Kids. Come and join the Bookworm Bunch!

This is a compilation video I put together using footage of programming breaks and episodes from shows that played on PBS during its PBS Kids block in the year 2001, based on its Bookworm Bunch Saturday morning programming. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg Saturday morning cartoon broadcast.

This is one hundred eleventh television broadcast video I've done like this, and the third PBS block I've made. I've been on a PBS kick as of late but this one may be my last one for a while. If you don't know, Bookworm Bunch was PBS's foray into the Saturday morning cartoon market, made at a time when Saturday morning cartoons were quite frankly a dying art. The shows were all produced by Nelvana, who were no strangers to Saturday morning cartoons, and each were based off popular children's book series (hence the name "Bookworm Bunch"). The Bookworm Bunch wasn't too long-lasting unfortunately. As I said, it did come onto the Saturday morning cartoon scene when the scene on its way out. Was it good? Well, I'll let you be the judge of that, but I hope you enjoy the video nonetheless.
