Comprehensive Duaa of Ibrahim (AS) | Asr Khatirah | Sh. Yaser Birjas

Ash-shu'araa 26:83
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًۭا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ٨٣
“My Lord! Grant me wisdom, and join me with the righteous.
26:84
وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍۢ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ٨٤
Bless me with honourable mention among later generations.
26:85
وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٨٥
Make me one of those awarded the Garden of Bliss.
26:86
وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ٨٦
Forgive my father, for he is certainly one of the misguided.
26:87
وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ ٨٧
And do not disgrace me on the Day all will be resurrected—
26:88
يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌۭ وَلَا بَنُونَ ٨٨
the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit.
26:89
إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍۢ ٨٩
Only those who come before Allah with a pure heart ˹will be saved˺.”

Dua:
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًۭا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
وَٱغْفِرْ لأبي واجعله من المهتدين
وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ
يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌۭ وَلَا بَنُونَ
إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍۢ

Rabbi hab lee hukman wa alhiqnee bis'saaliheen
waj'al lee lisanan sidqin fil aakhireen
waj alnee min warathati jannatin'naeem
wagh'fir li abee waj'alhu minal muhtadeen
wa la tukhzinee youma yub'athoon
yaouma laa yanfa'ou maalun wala banoon
illa man ata'Allaha biqalbin saleem
