Sea turtles, forts, and bombas! Join my last minute solo trip to Old San Juan, Puerto Rico! I only had 48 hours to soak up as much sun, saltwater, and Puerto Rican culture as I could before heading out to sea for a month. I only experienced what I experienced, but I'd say this itinerary hit most of the top things to do in Old San Juan! Have you been to Puerto Rico?? What are your favorite things to do on the island? Remember to respect Puerto Ricans when visiting. We are visitors in this world so respect the land you choose to walk.

Nothing like being a solo female traveler abroad on a tropical island in the Caribbean. Puerto Rico is no Puerto Vallarta Mexico, but it was the perfect beach vacation spot anyways, especially when taking a non cruise ship. Work travel is the best travel. Snorkeling pristine coral reefs , tropical fish , and green sea turtles. Thanks to NOAA fisheries for the sea turtle clip since my go pro died just before I saw my own sea turtle.
