All the waterfalls in Silver Falls State Park empty into Silver Creek, which eventually makes its way to Silverton. This is shot at a place called Salamander Reef, near the city park. I've always loved how wild the river feels so close to downtown. When I'm sitting watching the water at this spot, I could be in the middle of the forest, miles from the nearest building.
Shot at sunset, which is why the colors change over the 15 minutes. I added a 1-minute fade at the end; the rest is the natural changes of color.
I'm still experimenting with recording sound, so these are only 15 minute videos so far. After this successful test (in my opinion), I plan to try shooting for an hour, then loop it to make a longer version for white noise/studying/sleeping.
