Lung Overcoat were a post-punk band from San Antonio, Texas. The roots of the group formed in 1981 under the name Platform of Youth. By '83 they changed their name and released a 7" single "Internal Silence/Past Lives" on their own Scolex label. In 1986 they released the "Climbing Up the Hill" EP as well as a couple of compilation tracks. They disbanded in early 1987.
