Jackson State wide receiver Mark Pope entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, according Chris Hummer. Pope, who came to Jackson State from Miami on Dec. 15, 2021, is a former top-100 recruit in the 2018 class. Pope re-entered the transfer portal about a week before the 2022 season started, but never officially enrolled elsewhere.

Pope played in Jackson State’s game versus Mississippi Valley State and logged one reception for 15 yards — his only stat from the 2022 season.
