This Moving & Assisting training course for care workers replaces the previous Moving & Handling Practical training course. This interactive video-based training resource will help you to deliver practical training that explains safe moving principles.

This course explains how to use Moving and Assisting equipment safely and assist people that need support in their daily lives. Built around the principles of safe manual handling, this training course will teach care workers the importance of providing assistance, centred around the needs of the individual whether working unaided, as part of a team or with equipment. This course is available on the CareTutor eLearning platform at caretutor.org, or is available to buy from BVS Training in a training pack with a DVD, Lesson Plan, Handouts, Assessment and Certificate endorsed by Skills for Care and CPD accredited.
