It's midnight on the clock. The wounded arrive at the stabilization point near Bakhmut. Doctors know: the most work is at sunset, but they never know exactly when and how much.
They get no warning, the only sign is the sound of a car outside the window. This means that combat medics brought the wounded from the battlefield. Someone reaches the ward alone, someone screams in pain as they are rushed to the headquarters. The evacuation group was hit. Explosives were dropped from the drone. Shelled with artillery.
Even after the Ukrainian military managed to advance and free Klishchiivka and Andriivka, this part of the front remains hot. We work at the headquarters for two nights.
