On this Bushcraft Day Trip My Dog Pepper and I head to my outdoor shelter build and cook some raw cut bacon and vegetables on the cast iron pan over camp fire. Open Description for more info.

First snowfall has finally come to my area so I head out to my shelter, light a fire and enjoy the new beautiful scenery mother nature offers.
After I'm done soaking in the beauty I get to work at cooking up some raw cut bacon with yellow, red and orange peppers, I also put in some yellow, orange and red carrots.
The red ones are the best, they're very sweet. Throw in a little onion and you got yourself a meal, well Pepper thinks so anyways.

I make some bread on a stick while I spend some time carving a smaller spoon than the last one I did. It probably could have used 10 more minutes on the one side but it tasted great. I didn't feel like having the soup so I saved it for another day .
