Christmas cookie recipe:
Kris Kringle Cookies
1 c. butter (half Crisco/half butter)
2 c. sugar
Add:
3 eggs, separately
Combine and add to above ingredients:
5 i/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 t. cream of tarter
1 1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
2 T. milk
1 t. vanilla

Mix together well. Roll 1/4" thick and cut out cookies with cookie cutters.
Bake at 450 degrees, 6-8 minutes.

Frosting
1/2 cup butter (room temp.) + 1/2 cup Crisco
1 t. vanilla
1/8 t. salt
4 cups powdered sugar
3 T milk
