The grand saga continues as the Gate Crashers, enjoying the fruits of their labor, turn their attention towards the Gauntlet, a miniaturized version of the Trial of the Citadel in Porte Azar, and hope not to die along the way. Join them as they bumble from one critical fail to another in the hopes of uncovering why magical aberrations and mystical portals are opening across the land, and why some monstrous people are interested in them!

On this episode of Tales from the Gate Crashers, the Party gets the prizes they had worked towards during the Monster Wrangle. With those obtained, they finish out the night with work, drinking, and going to bed with people whose names they may or may not remember the ensuing morning. In that morning, they finally turn their attention towards something more pressing - the Gauntlet, a 'test' version for those entertaining the idea of running the Trial of the Citadel, success in which grants one godhood. However, this is not for shits and giggles, the Gauntlet may hold a way into the remnants of the old Temple of Veies, god of magic, run by the Order of the Blind Monks. The vampire cohort within Innsburg has been desperately seeking it, believing there is a weapon of great power contained within. So it is up to the Gate Crashers to get there before them! But first they must survive a challenge which was closed for how many people it had already killed. Let's see how the dice fall, shall we?

Rough Rolling is a high fantasy Pathfinder 1E campaign (with homebrew rules inspired by Dungeons & Dragons 5E) set in the world of Balur, a custom setting by the dungeon master Grey. It follows the exploits of its often roll-challenged players as they try to navigate a world of magic, fey machinations, cult undertakings, monstrous incursions, and the often hectic existence of living in a world in flux as it evolves from something medieval into something more akin to the renaissance.
