Founded by Bodo Buschmann in 1977 in Bottrop, Germany, BRABUS company has become a leading name in high-performance aftermarket tuning. After forty years in the market, the company now specializes in Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Maybach vehicles modification. Buschmann was enthusiastic about customizing his cars and decided to begin his own company after he could not satisfy his requirements.

Over four decades, BRABUS has grown into the world’s largest independent automotive tuner. With approximately 450 employees in Germany and 2,500 others located around the world, the company has a strong workforce. After Bodo passed in April 2018, his son Constantin Buschmann took over the BRABUS group as CEO.

With every BRABUS engine, there is a mighty push forward. Every new model comes with more displacement, horsepower, and torque which ends up being a new record for them. The company brings innovation with more interior appointments, safety, more eco-friendliness, and exclusivity.
Not only does the company experiment with modern cars but one can rely on their vintage cars as well. BRABUS has expanded its hobby into a line of business. They use their automotive expertise to restore classic vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz brand only. The company calls this a Six-Star Restoration and many of the oldies from BRABUS Classic offer at least the same high quality as they once did in their first life straight from the factory.
