Alford's tribute to his Battalion, 2nd Battalion the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's). At Balaklava, in the Crimea on 25th October 1854, the battalion, in line, repulsed the Russian cavalry. The Bugle call of the 93rd features as a motif throughout the march.
