Hey guys, Michelle here. And here are some Things to do in Orange County for the week of March 16th, 2012.

I hope you have your green ready this Saturday for St. Patrick's Day. On Saturday March 17th, the Inaugural Leprechaun Leap 5K Race will take place at The District in Tustin. You can enter as an individual or as a team of 5 or more people. There will be great awards for top finishers and best costume. After the race, stick around for festivities including an Expo at the Promenade as well as live entertainment on the main stage. Also, the Auld Dubliner Irish Pub in The District will be staying open all day for St. Patrick's Day and the Leprechaun Run for breakfast, beer, and all kinds of fun. Throughout the day, a number of different bands will be performing to celebrate all the way until 2AM. So enjoy these Irish festivities all day in Tustin.
If you'd rather stay in your own area, there are lots of other great St. Patrick's Day events throughout the OC. Costa Mesa will have authentic Irish food and live music at the Durty Nellie's Irish Pub. The Detroit Bar will also have the St. Patty's Day Bash. Collaborative Media and Sun GRP will present Blarney and Disco. There's no cover charge, and you can get two Irish Car Bombs for only ten bucks! The House of Blues in Anaheim will feature its 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Slam featuring Street Dogs, Devil's Brigade, Murder the Stout, and Old Man Markley. And I know Newport Beach will have some awesome St. Patrick's Day pub crawls, so just check out our website, and find out what's going to be happening in your area.
The Observatory in Santa Ana has got some great concerts lined up for you this weekend. California native rapper and G-Unit member, The Game, will be performing on Sunday March 18th. The Game has been a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene which has been for a while overshadowed. On Tuesday March 20th, pop rock group The Naked and Famous will be performing. They've exploded onto the scene with their debut album with singles like "Young Blood" playing all over the airwaves and on TV. They're currently on a multi-country tour but will be in OC just for this week... so don't miss out!
