South Carolina Second Circuit Solicitor David Miller — the same solicitor who dropped the charges against Bowen Turner after one of his alleged victims, Dallas Stoller, died and couldn’t testify — is running for a circuit judge seat and time is running out for the public to voice their concerns....

South Carolina is one of two states where a selection commission of lawmakers chooses its judges – not the people.

That commission, known as the Judicial Merit Selection Commission, is made up of 10 people, including lawyer-legislator Todd Rutherford, the same attorney who brokered early releases for convicted killer Jeroid Price and convicted kidnapper Alberto Romero Lopez.

As for Solicitor Miller, recently cleared one of many hurdles to become a judge when the SC Bar deemed him “qualified” after this hearing.

Now, Miller's confirmation will be voted on by the SC General Assembly. Watch this hearing and let your representatives know how you'd like them to act on your behalf.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an SC citizen or not, you can voice your concerns about David Miller before this man gets more power to do more harm.
