Ferrari’s 1-2 finish in Melbourne has got fans excited. A great philosopher once said: “If it bleeds, we can kill it”, and with Red Bull being defeated for only the second time in 26 races, Ferrari proved that they can bleed, though it’s going to require some quite big mistakes from Red Bull to make it happen. This battle is still on the scale of Arnie vs Predator though, Max Verstappen is a technologically advanced super alien that is programmed to do nothing but race cars and Ferrari, quite surprisingly, are the plucky underdog, trying to rescue F1 from the aliens' territory. This metaphor really has some legs doesn’t it? What it fails to take into account though is the aliens' slightly less intimidating best friend Lando Norris and his McLaren team who are in the hunt as well. Today, I’ll check out how Ferrari intend to replicate their Australian heist and why they might need to be looking over their shoulder as well, so don’t go anywhere.
