The newest Pixar movie Elemental has just released in theaters (not on Disney+ surprisingly), and its opening weekend was the lowest box office in Pixar Studios history. Disney has not been putting Pixar in the best position since it's glory days of Toy Story, Monster's INC, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Wall-E, and Up, as it has turned out mediocre spin offs like Monster's University, Finding Dory, and Incredibles 2, along with putting movies on Disney Plus like Soul, Luca, and Turning Red. After the failure or Lightyear and Elemental, Disney has announced Pixar will be making more sequels like Inside Out 2 and Toy Story 5, after their 2024 movie Elio releases into theaters.
