I started the first morning session off on fresh Toyo R888R's setting out to set a new PB. The first two laps were nice, the second lap came up just a little short of my best.



Later in the session I thought that is was misting rain as it had done the evening before while out on track. The moisture ended up not being rain. I found that out instantly at 120 mph when I turned on the wipers!


The camera is mounted on the windshield so the drops look larger in the video than they did from my perspective. Turns out the red Corvette was spraying some fluid. It didn't look like oil. I never got to talk with the driver.


I did get a new Persona Best later in the day!
