Artwork recreated by rayman and CD pictures taken from Discogs, though I posses this CD myself.

Anyway, there is no difference between this and the album version, just thought that this was interesting, especially what it says on the backside of the CD:
DragonForce - "A Flame For Freedom" - Impact Nov 30th 2009
DragonForce return with new single "A Flame For Freedom", taken from a hugely anticipated, epic, riff-laden collection of infections guitar anthem that is "Ultra Beatdown (KKKK Kerrang, 9/10 Powerplay, 7/10 Metal Hammer). etc

Now, the rest is not relevant, but what is interesting was the date and how A Flame For Freedom was never actually released as a single. Nearing the end of November, A Flame For Freedom was supposed a single, but there still wasn't a tour to support the release of the said single, and then ZP left in March 2010 meaning that the idea got scrapped.

A few takeaways, which I will copypaste in the comments as well:
1. The CD is definitely legit, it seems more like the label wanted it to happen but it never came to fruition.
2. In 2018, I personally talked to Herman on his stream, asked him specifically about it, he seemed confused, telling me had no idea. Believable, the date is very odd because they never released this song as a single.
3. There is a 2008 interview where Fred mentioned playing this song:

Interviewer: In light of the fact you didn't actually participate in recording sessions for Inhuman Rampage, do you like performing tracks lifted from that album?

Fred: Yeah, yeah. I like performing tracks originally featured upon Inhuman Rampage, and as part of this tour, we're actually performing tracks from that album as well. In addition, we're performing more tracks lifted from Ultra Beatdown. When we toured as part of the Mayhem Festival, the only track we performed from that album was "Heroes of Our Time". As part of this tour, we're performing the following tracks from Ultra Beatdown; "Heroes of Our Time", "Reasons to Live", "The Warrior Inside" and "The Last Journey Home". We tried performing the ballad [not directly naming the song] during the tour's first night in Oxford, and that horribly sucked. Therefore, we're not performing that track at present.

Now that is interesting, the opening night was September 25 2008 in Carling Academy Oxford. I had my doubts but I'm more and more curious, so was this song ever played live?
1. On that same stream, I personally asked Herman if the band ever played that song, and he was also pretty confused, saying "I don't remember ever learning that song", thought at a much later stream he said he did play it at some point. He may have confused it with The Flame of Youth, or maybe he was referring to the one time he played the song on the stream itself.
2. I personally asked Fred in 2018 if they ever played the song, he simply said "No we did not"

I cannot find ANY full bootlegs of September 25 2008 Carling Academy to finally confirm whether they did or did not play it, but I will never give up the hunt, I guess.
