Mr. America appeared on WWE Smackdown in 2003. After Vince McMahon lost to Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania XIX, the Chairman decided to send Hogan home (with pay) in hopes that Hollywood would rot away while sitting on his couch. Stephanie McMahon then signed a new WWE Superstar named "Mr. America" without knowing it was actually Hulk Hogan, and Mr. America's contract stated that he couldn't be fired unless McMahon proved it was actually Hulk Hogan under the mask.

This video looks at the Mr. America run in WWE including his debut, the lie detector test and the matches against Roddy Piper and Sean O'Haire. Also covered are the reasons why Hulk Hogan left the WWE in the middle of the Mr. America storyline.
