Detect RIDING ENTITIES in Minecraft 1.20+ Java?! Riding Entity Detector With Command Blocks! [Easy] *** In this tutorial I show you how to use Command Blocks to make a detector which activates if the nearest player is riding a particular entity/animal. All you need to do is check one data tag on the player.

This tutorial was done using Minecraft 1.20.4 Java Edition.

COMMANDS:

/setblock ~-2 ~1 ~ minecraft:air

/execute if entity @p[x=-57,y=66,z=-143,dx=0,dy=0,dz=0] run setblock ~-1 ~1 ~ minecraft:redstone_lamp[lit=true]

/execute if entity @p[x=-57,y=65,z=-143,dx=0,dy=0,dz=0] run setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:air
