Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) welcomed over 1,100 high school students from Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and area schools for its 8th Annual Aviation Career Day yesterday. Students got to explore career paths in the aviation field and meet pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, engineers and architects against the backdrop of aircraft from American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, United and others.
