Before the 2024 live action Netflix reboot in 2010 Hollywood attempted the impossible, a direct live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Turns out. It was impossible. With many considering this to be M. Night Shyamalan's worst directorial effort by a long way putting a stop to any potential sequel or new live action adaptation until recently.
