Are your flex urethane parts color shifting rapidly in the sun? Did your customer request a color match? Do your flex parts have an odor? We have great news! BJB Introduces it’s new ColorFlex line of EZ pigmented urethane elastomers.

For decades, BJB has been the industry go-to for high performance polyurethane elastomers that are easy to use, fast turnaround, and perform reliably in demanding applications. The main caveats to some higher physical property systems is dealing with the natural amber base color of the material and urethane odor. When you tint those systems using light color pigments and/or expose it to the sun, the color shift can be swift and dramatic. Trying to color-match or create bright white parts could also be a big challenge due to the amber base.

The ColorFlex material line answers these limitations with a semi-translucent, neutral white base color that accepts a wide range of BJB’s 6800 series pigments. When exposed to moderate UV Light, the color stability of ColorFlex opens up a whole new dimension of possibilities for you and/or your client. Oh, and one more important feature of BJB’s new ColorFlex; Low Odor!! Yup, we did that too! ColorFlex is also: Mercury Free, Phthalate Free, RoHS/REACH Compliant, Low Odor, and exhibits good Rebound, Abrasion, and Tear Resistance. Currently available in Durometers 50A - 95A with Fast or Medium work times. You asked, we answered!
