I could have practiced this to absolute perfection of course, but it’s just a rhythmic practice session on keeping time. This is the video from the second playthrough, I push a little on the notes here and there, but nobody gives a fuck anyway.. Made it into a small project to get some reps on the video editing skills as well, testing out a couple of new things.

Anyway, “rhythmic meditation”.. Studies suggest it's good for the brain. 🧠

“Prof Frederic Ullen, from the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, concluded that there was a link between intelligence, good timing and the part of the brain used for problem-solving. He said: The rhythmic accuracy in brain activity that is observed when a person maintains a steady beat is also important to the problem-solving capacities measured with the intelligence tests. In studies on the effects of rhythm on brains, researchers showed that experiencing a steady rhythm actually improves cognitive function, that drummers who had better rhythm scored higher on an intelligence test and showed a correlation between using multiple limbs to keep a steady beat and a natural ability to problem solve.”

Time spent learning a creative skill is never wasted. Be creative! 😎🙏🔥💯 #hyperballad @bjork #percussivecover #becreative #justdo #done #zen
