This past Sunday, the 49ers were able to complete the biggest 2nd half comeback in NFC Championship game history, defeating the Detroit Lions 34-31 and solidifying a 2nd trip to the Super Bowl in 5 seasons. The game started out rough, with Detroit dominating on both sides of the ball. But, some good 2nd half adjustments, along with on-point execution and gritty spectacular play-making by Brock Purdy lifted the 49ers to the victory. Hats off to the Lions, they were well prepared, tough at the point of attack and fought the entire game. We’ll take a look at the film, see what the issues were on both sides in the first half and then take a look at some of the key plays from the 2nd half.
