Fred Rouse was ranked the 5th best recruit overall in the Class of 2005 (247sports), at 6 foot 4, he ran a verified 4.40 second 40 yard dash and had a 40 inch vertical. As a senior in high school, he averaged 20.1 yards per catch. After games, he often told reporters he would become the first high school player to go straight to the NFL, he was viewed as the next Randy Moss due to his size and speed. Rouse also went on to claim that former high school and Seminole teammate, Antonio Cromartie could not read, was kicked out of FSU for failing multiple drug tests, broke into an apartment and stole from a former FSU teammate. He then spent time in jail, ended up at a small community college and eventually made his way into the Canadian Football League. He held a pretty big opinion of himself and his sense of entitlement eventually ruined his career early on. However, he was able to turn his life and personality around to lead a life without any further legal issues.
