Includes interviews with 1980s stars Gary Carter, Cal Ripken, Jr., Mike Schmidt, Andre Dawson, and Mark McGwire about their first All-Star Game experiences. Also includes segments and interviews on lesser known All-Stars such as Steve Stone, Mark "The Bird" Fidrych, Lee Mazzilli and Ray Fosse. Hosted by Joe Morgan and Curt Gowdy. Morgan interviews Bret Saberhagen and Eric Davis the day before their first All-Star Game appearances in 1987 in Oakland. This was recorded onto VHS in 1989, and was part of ESPN's "Baseball's Greatest Hits" series.
