In July 2021, the American Express Gold Rewards Card was temporarily discontinued, and was poised to be reborn at an unspecified future date.

This week, we learned about all the details of the refreshed Gold Rewards Card here in Canada.

Rose Gold is coming, new perks are being added, and the changes are fairly positive despite an increase to the annual fee. But did American Express miss an opportunity to make this card even more outstanding?
