In this Pro Tips 4U sports training boxing video, Denver Nuggets Center JaVale McGee, goes over Rebounding & Boxing Out. Learn the secrets of visually watching your opponent as the shot goes up and moving when they move. You’ll also learn the correct way to pivot so as not to lose your opponent. JaVale also explains why sometime you may just be asked to box out without going for the rebound and when you’re on offense the correct way to fake out the defender to lose him as the shot goes up.

JaVale McGee is the starting center for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. He was the 18th overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft following a successful two-year collegiate career at the University of Nevada in Reno. During his NBA career, he has averaged nine points, six rebounds and two blocked shots per game. JaVale participated in the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest where he finished in second place. He was the first player to use three balls at one time in a dunk contest, which was later cited by the Guinness World Records as the most number of basketballs dunked in a single jump.
