Firstly, kudos and big thanks to Andy Wood at the Andy Wood Music Youtube channel (see:    / andywoodmusic  . Andy came up with a great programming solution for the wet-dry-wet routing thing that many 80's and 90's guitarists liked to do when they had a crew to deal with it and plenty of money to pay for it - and the crew! It sounds pretty cool though, so I had to try it. Having gone down that rabbit hole (thanks, Andy!) I then proceeded to compare his patch to some earlier EVH tones and ended up spending the day putting this preset together, which I now give to you so you can tweak to taste. Cheers.
