In this video I show the steps and procedures necessary to replace a lower control arm & ball joint on a 2015 and newer F-150. Overall the job is not too difficult however there are some tips and tricks I show along the way to make the job go by a little easier. The truck we are working on today is a 2015 Ford XL 2wd.. We are experiencing some play in the lower driver side ball joint. I am replacing the whole control arm due to the age of the vehicle and the mileage. It is possible to press a new ball joint into the existing control arm however it’s much quicker just to replace the whole unit. Ball joint to spindle bolt- 85 LB FT
Sway Bar End Link lower- 60 LB FT, Upper End Link bolt 50-55 LB FT
Coilover Top Plate bolts- 50 LB FT
Coilover lower mount bolts- 66 LB FT
Lower control arm bolt: 257 LB FT
