Making A Cane Sword

In this video I made a Bocote and Walnut cane sword. It's about 35" long, this was a fun project I've never turned a cane before.

Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodturning and woodworking, ties it all together. We do a lot of epoxy projects as well as woodturning.
