Thanks to Car Throttle and Colin Furze, the Z3 is gaining in popularity with more and more people picking up the plucky roadster. If you want one, here's a quick guide going though the different models of Z3s, common problems and issues to look out for and why they are an AMAZING car to own!

Can't fit everything into a short video but here's an update of some other common issues, also posted on Zroadster.org:

'Not bad. A good start point for anyone totally new to Z3s. But a bit high level.

I only skimmed through it quickly but don’t think any mention made of dead shocks and knackered bushes. Various water ingress points. VANOS seals. ABS lights. Corroded brake lines hidden around rear axle. Floppy gear shifts. Disintegrated horns. Worn seat bolsters/leather. Broken interior door handles. Seized door mirrors. Leaking aerial bushes. Lazy windows. Spinning door locks. Boot loom. All very common issues a buyer should be looking for and hoping already sorted. Also glosses over worthiness of the 2.2 engine as a very good consideration. Anyway. Thought I’d jot these points down if anyone lands here looking to buy for first time and wants more detail.'
