Super Unique Bull Moose Antlers, What a Beautiful Bull

The journey continues for Left Hook. It’s no secret I’ve been fascinated by him for 5 years now. We always remind ourselves how special it is to spend time with him. Grumpy will always have a big chunk of my heart but Left Hook is and has been my (Rick’s) favorite all along. FT23 is climbing the ladder of favorite bulls though. All kinds of fun trying to figure all that out.
One more comment about LH, I’ll always remember that crazy weather day in 2022 when the winds in the area we hike were excessively high…we decided an off day from hiking was in order. I was back at the rental making videos and got word from a friend he’d just seen LH, and off I went into the wind hiking to try and see him. The wind was pushing me around moving me several feet at a time. I just had to look anyway. I never found him but I tried. No regrets.
Today’s video continues the sharing of the 2023 rut and shows a bit more of all the activity Left Hook engaged in a couple weeks after shedding his velvet. I’ll just say this. He was very busy this past rut, tending cows nearly constantly, digging pits all over the place. More action is on the way featuring Left Hook and Breadstick action.
