Acura's are great sellers on our lot, every model from the ILX to this MDX. I haven't much paid attention to Acura over the years, but upon their inception, they were a carmaker very near and dear to my heart. Acura's used to be super cool, and my dad's old 1988 Legend Coupe has left an imprint on this car-guy's heart.

So what happened to Acura? Why have I not taken notice of them in the last 20 years? Did they lose there cool factor? Or are there still shadows of a once great sports/luxury brand still lurking among the quirks and features of this midsize-crossover MDX?

Great car, no doubt. But is it now just another brand?
